Professional and personalised support throughout your journey

Africa has been an integral part of my life for more than 20 years. I have lived and worked in different parts of the continent, including many years in Uganda, where I founded and ran a solar energy company. At the same time, the African bush has been a constant part of my life. I have travelled extensively through Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and many other regions, and I still spend a large part of my time in the wilderness today.

I feel a particularly deep connection to Botswana and Zimbabwe. Botswana has a very special energy for me. It is one of those places where I feel that nature and wilderness are still genuinely given priority. The country’s commitment to wildlife conservation, its vast open landscapes and its untouched character fascinated me so deeply that, over time, Botswana became my home.

My passion for wildlife is also what led me to train as a Field Guide. I completed my training in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. Since then, my knowledge of wildlife, animal behaviour and the African bush has continued to grow through many years of first-hand experience.

Journeys That Are More Than Just a Safari

I don’t want to offer my guests a standard safari. My aim is to create a journey that feels truly personal and, at its best, becomes a life-changing experience.

That is why I personally visit the camps and lodges I recommend, know many regions first-hand and regularly spend time in the bush. I want to know from my own experience which property is right for which traveller, which guides are exceptional, and where the most authentic and memorable safari experiences can be found.

If desired, I can also personally accompany my guests during their journey. I assist with the organisation, provide German–English translation support and remain available throughout the trip as a personal point of contact. My goal is to find the perfect combination of wilderness, comfort, wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments for every guest.

Travel With Purpose

Wildlife conservation is inseparable from my work. I am particularly passionate about the human–elephant conflict in Botswana. When elephants move through agricultural areas in search of food and destroy crops, conflicts can arise that can be dangerous for both local communities and the elephants.

That is why I decided to establish my own elephant conservation programme and contribute directly to finding solutions. 2% of every booking goes directly towards this project, supporting measures that help protect elephants and local communities.

For me, travelling is not only about experiencing an extraordinary destination. It is also about giving something back and helping to preserve this unique wilderness for generations to come.

I don’t simply want to show you Africa. I want to bring you closer to Africa – through my knowledge, my experience and my personal connection to this extraordinary continent.
